With over fifteen years of underwater photographic experience I hope that I can bring my knowledge to this blog. As with everyone, I have my specialisms – generally wrecks but also caves and canyons, and almost always deep shots. To take these images I have developed my own particular techniques. I’m sure other people have different ways of doing things, and they may be better. All I can say is that my methods work for me!

I am a contributor to UK diving magazines (Dive and Diver) and occasional contributor to other publications including Dyk (Scandanavia), Nurkowanie (Poland) and DAN Magazine (Asia). I have also had photos published in a broad range of publications such as The Sunday Telegraph, The Daily Mail and Hello! I have a range of diving experience and qualifications from BSAC Open Water Instructor, through to NACD Full Cave Diver and Trimix Rebreather. I can take photos in any conditions and any (diveable) depths!
Most of my diving is on deeper wrecks in the UK or abroad and I particularly enjoy visiting undived or rarely dived wrecks. In this capacity I have been involved in a number of wreck expeditions as a diver and photographer: The Struma Project (Black Sea), Bluebird (Conniston Water), HMS Exmouth (Moray Firth), HMS Manchester (Tunisia), HMS Caribbean (Cape Wrath) and Valella (Italy). I also have an ongoing project to photograph and map the area around Dahab’s Blue Hole and Canyons called The Blue Whole Project.
